ABOUT OUR NANNIES & BABYSITTERS
We ensure our Wild Roots Nannies uphold Wild Roots Holistic Learning Center values — they are trained to impart independence and life skills to children through meaningful experience and respectful engagement. Feel relaxed knowing your child will be entertained, stimulated and delighted with developmentally appropriate activities while you’re away.
WILD ROOTS NANNIES
- Have completed hands-on comprehensive training
- Many have completed Childhood Education courses
- Offer bilingual services upon request
- Have at least 3 years of consistent childcare experience
- Are Live Scanned fingerprinted or Trustline registered
- Are CPR and First Aid Certified
- Have attended a special Infant Safety workshop
BABYSITTING PACKAGES & PRICING
VACATION BABYSITTING ON-SITE PRICING & FEES:
- $75 booking flat fee
- $20/hr for one child and $25/hr for 2 or more children paid directly to babysitter upon end of shift. 5+ children is subject to different rate.
LOCAL BABYSITTING PRICING PACKAGE:
We offer a babysitting package, giving you priority access to any of our available babysitters for an annual rate of $250 with discounted booking fees.
- $40 same day booking fee OR $30 advanced booking fee (daily fees)
- $20/hr for one child and $25/hr for 2 or more children paid directly to babysitter upon end of shift. 5+ children is subject to different rate.
Families not interested in an annual babysitting package will pay:
- $75 booking fee
- $20/hr for one child and $25/hr for 2 or more children paid directly to babysitter upon end of shift. 5+ children is subject to different rate.
NEWBORN/INFANT SPECIALIST AGENCY RATES:
- $25/hr newborn & infants up to 9 months
- $30/hr for infant multiples or infant and siblings
POLICIES:
- 3 hour minimum and 24 hour cancellation requested. Babysitting fees are double on the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve
- Reservations are booked on a first come first serve basis according to availability.
NANNY PACKAGES & PRICING
WE PROVIDE A NANNY PLACEMENT OF THE BEST MATCH FOR YOUR FAMILY’S NEEDS AFTER OUR 5 STEP APPROACH:
1. Phone Conversation: We intake all of your needs via phone and schedule an in-home interview.
2. Home Interview: A qualified and caring representative will visit your home to meet your family and discuss your family’s goals, lifestyle, needs, parenting style, and wishes for nanny candidates.
3. Screen Nannies: We find the top nanny candidates that we feel are the best match for your unique family and we ensure qualifications based on our high standards.
4. Nanny/Family Interviews: We supply your family with the resumes and qualifications of the top candidates according to our matching process and schedule interviews for your family. We supply you with a recommended list of questions to ensure successful interviews.
5. Nanny Orientation: After you have chosen your nanny, we coordinate a trial period of up to one week in which you and the nanny have time to determine if it is the perfect match.
6. Official Placement: We provide you with the tools necessary to hire your nanny and walk you through the process of becoming a household employer. We finalize all background checks and nanny is registered with Trustline. We are an on-going support and resourceful knowledge base for your family and nanny.
- Full-Time (26+ hrs / week) Nanny Referral Agency fee: Nanny is employee of family. Fee is 15% of Nanny’s annual salary
- Part-Time (Less than 26 hrs / week) Nanny Referral Agency fee: Nanny is employee of family. Flat fee of $2000.
YOUR INVESTMENT INCLUDES OUR PERSONALIZED MATCHING PROCESS AND ALSO:
- Verification of nanny’s education, experience, and trainings
- CPR and first aid certifications
- Criminal background investigation: DMV driving record, Social Security number verification
- Professional employment agreement
- Free membership to our babysitting program ($200 value)
- One candidate replacement, if needed, within 180 days from first day of employment
A LA CARTE SERVICES
PLAYGROUP LEADER:
A qualified member of our team will coordinate a playgroup for families of Wild Roots Nannies with similar interests. We will plan, prepare, and conduct the first session at a family’s home or park.
- $200 flat fee Playgroup leading for preparations and up to 2 hours on site.
HOME ENVIRONMENT CONSULTATION:
A qualified member of our team will visit your home to assist with home environment preparation and materials set up that will invite the child to become more independent and engaged.
- $400 Flat Fee for 2 visits. On the first visit, the consultant will assess the needs and on the second visit, she will prepare the environment with the parents’ involvement.
DISCOUNTS FOR WILD ROOTS HOLISTIC LEARNING CENTER FAMILIES
Families of children who attend our Temecula school will receive 10% off all Wild Roots Nannies. If using our babysitting or nanny services during a school closure or break, your caregiver may not be a full time Wild Roots teacher, as they are likely completing prep work at the school or taking much needed time off. Therefore, they may not be available to simultaneously work as nannies for enrolled families. However, we do have qualified nannies and babysitters who are compensated separately and on another insurance policy for in-home services. Rest assured, your children will be cared for in a similar manner, utilizing the same philosophies as Wild Roots teachers.
